About us

Rheana Desjardins
Co-Owner, College Clean Exteriors.
I started out as a student at the University of Victoria, studying their business program, with the goal of one day starting my own business. With a goal like that, it is hard knowing where to start, where to get the knowledge and experience needed. I was able to gain valuable experience as a business owner running a successful painting company through a student based program. There, I learned many skills such as sales, organization and management, and adaptability.
I was also a former student athlete and played soccer at the University of Victoria. Managing my studies, sports and the business, I learned the importance of discipline, time-management and most importantly perseverance.
This foundation led me to venture into the exterior cleaning industry. The combination of my business education, entrepreneurial experience, and passion for service has allowed me to thrive in the exterior cleaning industry, where I continue to learn and evolve while helping clients maintain their properties.
With all the knowledge I have gained, and as I still learn, my mission is to share what I know through our program. Our company provides students the opportunity to learn being in the position of a business owner. Our mentorship program is a way for students to gain experience and learn many skills, while being support and coached throughout all the steps.
Mackenzie Nordli
Co-Owner, College Clean Exteriors.
With over five years of experience in business coaching and entrepreneurship in the home service industry, I am dedicated to empowering the next generation of business leaders by teaching them how to run a profitable, safe, and ethical exterior cleaning business in their communities. I believe that hands-on-experience is key to a young person’s success, not only to build and develop skills that they will use in future endeavors, but also to create confidence. As a co-founder of College Clean Exteriors, I am combining a passion for providing exceptional service with a life-changing opportunity for university students to get their feet wet in the business world.
Not only do I find coaching students immensely fulfilling, but it also allows me to pass on the experience I have gained since starting a home services business 5 years ago in Nanaimo, BC, while studying business at Trinity Western and playing varsity rugby with the Spartans. By actively mentoring students and sharing insights on running a successful business they can take what they have learned in the classroom and apply it to a business of their own.
